Flynas Adds Two New A320neo Aircraft to Fleet

Two brand-new Airbus A320neo aircraft have been delivered to Flynas, a low-cost private airline based in Saudi Arabia. To accommodate the demand for flights during the holy month, it has also expanded its seat capacity by 25% to more than 1.2 million seats throughout the month of Ramadan this year compared to the same period last year.

The two A320neos increased the proportion of this contemporary aircraft in Flyna's fleet when they arrived at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on March 7 and March 14. Flynas is expected to receive a total of six new A320neo aircraft by the end of 2024.

In the meantime, Flynas has expanded its seat capacity on its flights during Ramadan in 2024 by 25% to 1.2 million seats for both domestic and international flights when compared to the same period the previous year. This development strengthens the leading low-cost carrier's capacity to offer a variety of travel options and an exceptional experience to guests of Umrah performers and visitors of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the holy month.

This increase in new aircraft and seat capacity is part of a strategic plan called "We Connect the World to the Kingdom," which was introduced concurrently with the goals of the National Civil Aviation Strategy, which aims to enable national airlines to help connect KSA with 250 international destinations, accommodate 330 million passengers, and welcome 100 million tourists annually by 2030, and the Pilgrims Experience Program (PEP), which facilitates access to the Two Holy Mosques.
