Vietnam Boasts One of World’s Best Spas
At this year's World Spa Awards, guests chose The Spa at Regent Phu Quoc off the southern coast of Phu Quoc Island as the finest new resort spa in the world.
At the awards' event late last week, the organising committee revealed that the result was determined by votes given by members of the media, the public, and business professionals.
Following Vietnam's resumption of international travel, the Regent Phu Quoc Resort, located about 15 minutes from Phu Quoc International Airport, welcomed visitors in April.
It has six restaurants and bars, 302 flats and villas, and swimming pools with views of Long Beach and a global biosphere reserve.
The spa and wellness industries are encouraged to enter one of the several nomination categories offered by the World Spa Awards each year.
Entries are free of charge and checked and vetted to ensure each nomination qualifies for the selected category. The decision of World Spa Awards is final.
Vietnam was voted Asia’s best spa destination at the awards this year.
World Spa Awards, a sister event of the prestigious World Travel Awards, is a global initiative to celebrate and reward excellence in the spa and wellness sector.
