Spain Has Enforced New Rules for Covid Booster Shots
Before the half-term holidays in February, Spain has enforced some new restrictive rules for travellers, specifically for tourists from the UK. The rule states that one needs to provide authenticated proof of Covid-19 booster shot if their prior vaccination shot dates back more than 270 days of arrival.
This rule will be executed from the 1st of February,2022 (Tuesday). This edict simply means that every tourist who already had been vaccinated with the regular doses more than 270 days prior to the vacation will not be allowed to enter Spain without the booster shot.
Only the ones who have received the booster shots more than 14 days ahead of the flight will be allowed access to Spain. This regulation is applicable to only vacationers of age 12 years and above.
Upon arrival into the country, visitors from the UK will probably have to face some extra tests which may include a temperature check, visual health estimation, or PCR testing within the next 48 hours.
An NHS Covid Pass that shows details of Covid-19 vaccination will be acceptable.
