Emirates Promotes Western Australia as UK Travel Demands Rise

With the addition of a second daily service from December 1, the airline is expanding capacity on the Dubai-Perth route.
Emirates has witnessed a rise in the number of UK passengers by a quarter in the last year.
With 111,000 arrivals to Perth within the duration of a year ending in September 2023 while spending £170 million, the UK is the leading source market for tourists visiting Western Australia.
Prior to the pandemic in 2019, stays lasted an average of 22 nights; however, last year, they lasted 25 nights.
In 2023, business class reservations to Perth increased by 40%, according to the airline.
The Qantas non-stop connection from London and other carriers via the Middle East or Asia compete with Emirates' one-stop route to Perth.
