Emirates Promotes Western Australia as UK Travel Demands Rise

A new collaboration has been established between Emirates and Tourism Western Australia after a significant rise in demand from UK visitors was witnessed.

Emirates and Tourism Western Australia will be working together to raise the profile of the region through joint marketing campaigns thanks to this partnership.

With the addition of a second daily service from December 1, the airline is expanding capacity on the Dubai-Perth route.

Emirates has witnessed a rise in the number of UK passengers by a quarter in the last year.

With 111,000 arrivals to Perth within the duration of a year ending in September 2023 while spending £170 million, the UK is the leading source market for tourists visiting Western Australia.

Prior to the pandemic in 2019, stays lasted an average of 22 nights; however, last year, they lasted 25 nights.

In 2023, business class reservations to Perth increased by 40%, according to the airline.

The Qantas non-stop connection from London and other carriers via the Middle East or Asia compete with Emirates' one-stop route to Perth.
