Amadeus extends partnership with Alternative Airlines
Amadeus and Alternative Airlines, a rapidly expanding online booking platform, have extended their long-standing partnership.
The UK-based online travel agency now uses a variety of flight search and purchase tools, such as Amadeus Air Extension, a new service that sources extra material from low-cost carriers.
Alternative Airlines will also use Amadeus Virtual Interlining and Amadeus Instant Search, which is a pre-computed private cache that provides an instant answer with up to 250 trip possibilities.
The purpose of Amadeus Flight Search solutions is to assist Alternative Airlines in providing travellers from over 600 airlines worldwide with thorough and pertinent results.
Even for travellers who intend to visit off-the-beaten-path locations, the technology enables the online travel vendor to rapidly customise itinerary recommendations based on the flight alternatives and connections that best suit their preferences.

With the use of Amadeus' infrastructure, Alternative Airlines has been able to get NDC content since 2022, giving customers easy access to affordable rates, flexible booking choices, auxiliary items, and more.
Amadeus' NDC gives Alternative Airlines access to a growing array of flight offerings and advanced retailing capabilities, allowing the firm to provide its passengers with an improved travel experience.
