Ryanair Launches Record UK Winter Schedule

Ryanair has unveiled its largest-ever UK winter schedule, with the addition of 21 additional flights to its network of 21 British airports.

The low-cost airline will provide 440 services for the winter of 2022–2023, including new winter sun and city break locations from Stansted, including Asturias, Catania, Klagenfurt, Leipzig, and Lapland.

There are also six new routes from Birmingham: Billund, Grenoble, Santander, Stockholm, Toulouse, and Venice. Other new routes include Liverpool-Rome; Newcastle to Barcelona and Cork; Bournemouth to Lanzarote and Venice; Edinburgh to Grenoble and Verona; Manchester to Klagenfurt, Podgorica, and Turin.

Michael O’Leary, group chief executive, said: “Ryanair is one of the most reliable airlines as ‘Hopeless Heathrow’ continues to cap traffic, while BA cancels thousands of UK flights in its winter schedules due to staff shortages.

“This winter, Ryanair is offering its UK customers lower fares and more certainty with their winter travel plans, as it operates a full schedule of over 3,000 daily flights with many new routes and unbeatable value for UK’s consumers and their families.”
