Facebook Room – A New Connecting Tool

Facebook has recently introduced a new tool called Room. This is basically a video calling tool. But why did Facebook introduce Room tools while WhatsApp, Imo and Messenger have video calling facility?

Such questions will come to everyone but there are some innovations in the Facebook room that are not available in other tools or apps. Lets take a look on those -

1) It allows you to add people of your choice

2) You can give video calls to 50 people at once

3) It’s not that only Facebook users are able to join the call, but if you send the link of your chatroom given to you to the people you want to connect to will also be able to join your video call if they click on the link even if they do not have Facebook.

4) If you wish, you can make video calls to all the members of the room, but you can only call a few of the members of the room as well.

5) You can take someone out of the room if you want to lock someone's call again.

7) Room tools will allow you to chat in unlimited video calling where the time was specified in another popular video calling app Zoom.

The bottom line is that where there was a doubt about security with Zoom apps, Facebook's Room is absolutely safe. It will provide good facilities in organisation, group chat, taking classes, conferences etc.

Back in April, Mark Zuckerberg experimentally launched the Room Tools, where only few people were allowed to access or use it, but it has since been successfully opened to Facebook users around the world.
