Emirates Empowers Small Businesses for UN’s MSME Day

Emirates is making initiatives to empower small business enterprises to explore all the growth opportunities with attractive incentives for new members enrolled on the Emirates Business Rewards programme to commemorate the United Nation’s Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSME) Day.

During the two long years of the pandemic, the economic stability of every country was jeopardised. Later, the role played by these small business enterprises in post-pandemic recovery was very significant, and they are still carrying it on at present. Emirates’ goal is to give MSMEs adequate platforms to grow while recognising the unequivocal part they play in the sustainable development of the global economy.

10,000 Emirates Business Reward Points will be given as a bonus to every Eligible business around the world to sign up for the programme for the first time between  25 June and 10 July. The 10,000 reward points is equivalent to one Economy Class return ticket between some Middle Eastern destinations like Africa and Dubai, a city that can provide entrepreneurs and SMEs considerate amount of support programmes and infrastructure for proper growth.

Easy enrolment, accessible earning and redemptions, and flexibility and upgrade opportunities are just some benefits more than 30000 participant businesses enjoy from the moment they enrol into the programme.

Emirates Business Rewards allows its participant businesses to earn points that they can use for business travel. For ‘making business travel seamless’, Emirates gives the organisations the opportunity to spend these points on future flights and upgrades to any class on any Emirates flight.

Whenever the employees or guests of an organisation travel via Emirates, they are allowed to earn points that can be dynamically spent on flights and upgrades. There is no limit to the number of employees who can join the programme, and it is free to join.

Official or unofficial MSMEs cover up to 90% of all global firms and accounts, 70% of total employment and 50% of GDP. As a result, they are also deemed as ‘the backbone of our economies’.

This is not the first time Emirates made efforts to empower small and mid-sized businesses. Countless businesses have reaped the benefits of showcasing different aspects of their business to a global travel audience through Emirates while boosting their growth plans.
